Compassx is hiring a remote candidate for Senior Developer (React) (Independent Contractor). This is a contract position. Work location: USA, UK, Canada.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain front-end features in React.
- Integrate the application with Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Cloud services.
- Own work across development, deployment, and production support.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Use Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools effectively.
- Work directly with technical and business stakeholders to clarify needs and move work forward.
- Produce clean, maintainable code and documentation.

- Experience building and supporting custom business applications.
- Working knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP systems.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, source control, and deployment workflows.
- Able to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and deliver with minimal oversight.
- Strong communication skills with both clients and technical teammates.
- Experience in manufacturing or enterprise operations environments.
- Full-stack experience supporting APIs and backend integrations.
- Availability to start immediately or within two weeks.
The posted compensation range is provided as an annualized equivalent for pay transparency purposes. Final compensation will be structured as an hourly rate or other contract-based arrangement and will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, scope of work, engagement type, market conditions, and business needs.
Currently, this role will most likely be as an hourly independent contractor through to the end of the year (1099 basis)
