Tillster, Inc. is hiring a remote candidate for Front End Software Engineer. This is a full time position. Work location: Portugal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a scalable and performant front-end application using AngularJS .
  • Integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end services.
  • Build reusable components and UI libraries to ensure maintainability and efficiency.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate Figma designs into high-quality user interfaces.
  • Optimize performance for seamless and fast user experience on touch-based kiosk devices .
  • Ensure accessibility and responsiveness across different screen sizes.
  • Debug and troubleshoot production issues , ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Implement best coding practices to minimize errors, defects, and maintenance overhead.
  • Follow and contribute to system design principles for scalable and modular front-end architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend developers, product managers, and designers.

About the Role Software Engineer------- We are looking for an experienced Front End Software Angular Engineer ( ANGULAR EXPERIENCE A MUST) who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming for our web-based ordering and payments system. What You'll Do

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in front-end development with AngularJS.

  • Strong experience in API integrations (REST)

  • Experience with state management and component-based architecture.

  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

  • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques in AngularJS.

  • Strong debugging skills to resolve production issues quickly.

  • Experience working with Figma and understanding UI/UX principles.

  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD workflows.

  • Knowledge of progressive web apps (PWAs) and service workers is a Plus

  • Agile/Scrum experience a plus

  • Compensation competitive to market and geographical location.

  • Meal allowance for each day worked available through meal card.

  • Home/Office allowance reimbursement per calendar month, pro-rated based on employment start date.

  • Health insurance: Tillster pays the premium for employee private health insurance. Employees have the option to add their spouse/dependents at the employee’s cost.

  • Holidays:

    Up to 20 federal and local/municipal holidays in accordance with applicable Portuguese Labour laws, dependent on your employment start date.

    Up to 22 days of vacation every holiday year, pro-rated based on employment start date.
