ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a product-focused backend team building a no-code data activation platform that works with customer data warehouses. You will help make a core product reliable and scalable while shaping features that help customers use their data effectively.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own backend systems, improving their scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Improve data warehouse performance through query optimization and precomputed state.
- Build analytics and experimentation capabilities for creating customer segments and measuring audience performance.
- Develop real-time audience syncing using approaches such as change data capture and streaming.
- Partner with product and design to turn customer needs and specifications into robust backend solutions.
- Guide system architecture, balancing performance, simplicity, and long-term maintainability.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 6 years of backend engineering experience building and operating large-scale systems.
- Strong systems design fundamentals and experience with distributed systems and large-scale data processing.
- A product-minded approach to backend engineering, including openness to customer feedback and iteration.
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment and in SaaS, data activation, analytics, or data tooling.
- A degree in computer science, mathematics, or electrical engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Annual salary range:
$180,000 to $320,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is not available.
